We are happy to announce the addition of Edith Fonseca, PLPC, as the newest member of our staff. Edith is experience in Marriage Counseling, Substance Abuse Counseling and has worked with individuals with a variety of other mental health issues. She is now available during the day, some evening and weekend hours. We welcome her as part of our team.
Edith Fonseca is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a professional member of the American Counseling Association (ACA). She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Georgian Court University, and a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling and Addiction Studies from Monmouth University in New Jersey.
In addition to private practice, her experience includes several years counseling in Intensive Outpatient and Partial Care settings, In-patient Substance Abuse treatment, and medical detoxification.
Edith specializes in adolescents, adults, couples and families with a wide array of presenting concerns such as anxiety, depression, addictions, grief and marriage /family counseling. She is a compassionate therapist who strives to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment by using a variety of theoretical approaches to fit each persons’ needs.
