HOLLYKEM SUNSERI, BCSACHollyKem is a Board Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, a LASACT Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, and International Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and a Certified Trauma Resolution Therapist. She has worked in the field of addiction since 1985 and has been in private practice since 1989. HollyKem began her work as the Assistant Director and Primary Counselor at The Magnolia House for Women where she treated adolescents and young women. At River Oaks Psychiatric Hospital she was the Primary Addiction Counselor for the adult unit, lead counselor for the dual diagnosis adolescent unit, facilitated family week intensives and developed the Intensive Outpatient Program. | In 1989 HollyKem opened her private practice in New Orleans, Louisiana and treated people for a variety of mental health issues. During that time, HollyKem created a concept called “The Voices Within” which teaches clients to embrace their humanness and tap into the positive energy of their soul. Today HollyKem and her husband Dean are part owners of Living Well, LLC. Living Well offers a variety of services including an Intensive Outpatient Program for Chemical Dependency, Counseling, Life Coaching, ADD/ADHD Counseling and Health and Fitness Services. HollyKem has facilitated intensives (Life Enrichment Retreats) since 1992. She and Dean are co-authors of the book/audio tape A Roadmap to the Soul: A Practical Guide to Love, Compassion, and Inner Peace. When HollyKem's not in session, you'll find her speaking at conferences, hosting a free inspirational series or painting in her art studio.
