Dr. Dean Sunseri, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families overcome emotional, relational, and mental health challenges. With offices in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Dean provides compassionate, effective counseling to help you find clarity, healing, and long-term growth.

Individual Counseling

Individual counseling is available for adults seeking support for personal struggles or challenging life situations. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, addiction, alcohol abuse, grief, relationship problems, divorce, codependency, or ADD/ADHD, Dean provides a safe, supportive environment to help you process, heal, and grow.

Marriage & Couples Counseling

Marriage counseling helps couples restore connection and rebuild a strong foundation. Common issues addressed include communication problems, conflict, unresolved hurts, emotional distance, betrayal, and difficulty finding common ground. After an initial assessment, Dean will work with you to build a personalized plan that strengthens communication, deepens compassion, and supports emotional and spiritual growth in your marriage or relationship.

Family Counseling

Family counseling helps families improve communication, reduce conflict, and strengthen the family system. Dean works with families experiencing issues such as anger, blended family challenges, parenting conflicts, sibling tensions, and emotional disconnection—helping each member grow in emotional awareness and relational health.

Dean is not a psychologist or psychiatrist and does not prescribe medication. If medication is needed, he will refer you to a trusted psychiatrist or psychologist and coordinate care to support your overall treatment plan.
