Thanksgiving & Mental Health Counseling
An attitude of gratitude is so important for mental and spiritual health. As we celebrate Thanksgiving this week, I recommend that you make a list of 25 things that you are thankful for. There is a general rule which says that whatever you focus on will expand. If I focus on the negatives experiences that have occurred, my entire mood changes to come in agreement with that negative experience. If I focus on what I am grateful for in my life, my mood will come in agreement with my thoughts of thankfulness.
